Girl Scouts Heart of the South invites the community to the 2026 Trefoils & Trailblazers Luncheon on Tuesday, October 6, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Memphis Botanic Garden.
Inspired by Girl Scouts of the USA’s 2026 State of the Girl report, this year’s theme, Helping Girls Find Their Power Within, will bring together leaders from business, healthcare, philanthropy, education, and the nonprofit community for a conversation about how we can help girls build confidence, find their voice, and thrive.
The luncheon will feature a panel of Memphis community leaders including Rose Flenorl, Global Citizenship Manager at FedEx Corporation; Shante Avant, President and CEO of Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis; and Ann Marie Watkins Wallace Peoples, System Community Outreach Coordinator at Baptist Memorial Health Care. Zaneta Lowe of WREG-TV will moderate the discussion.
Guests will leave with a deeper understanding of what girls are experiencing today and how caring adults, meaningful experiences, and strong communities can help create a brighter future for the next generation.
